A new level, of self-promotion is seen as politicians in the Philippines hold a gay boxing tournament. It is disappointing to see those who would lead the country use others in such a blatant manner. But it only emphasizes that Filipinos have a long way to go in treating their fellow countrymen.
At the very least, I hope the gay boxers got paid money. They should be on Broadway and not on the ring.
