When a blade is the only thing left

I wince each time I see a blog that supports communist / socialist tendencies. I wince because in my experience, those paths are not the ones that lead to happiness. However, in the Philippines, when you have nothing else, perhaps even to a knife you will also begin clinging. Ilang was a writer before she was a blogger. She writes of communism and socialism in the Philippines. She tears at my soul because there should be something better for the Philippines, but there is not.
